There were questions about the Mentor offense coming into the season, but a lot of concerns were put to rest in their 38-17 victory over Olmsted Falls. Brogan Jones went 20-31 for 285 yards and two touchdowns through the air. On the receiving end of many of those passes was Logan Berwald, who finished with 12 catches for 235 yards and two scores. Up next is a showdown with McDowell (PA), who the Cardinals beat 42-12 last season.
