The Warriors started their season with a tough road test against Highland and put a running clock on the Hornets, winning 34-0. Mason Rodgers led the Warriors’ offense, rushing for 87 yards and a score, while Dom Courtad added 68 yards and a touchdown of his own. Not to be overlooked, kicker Oliver Nonno hit four field goals, including one from 51 yards out in the first half. The schedule does not get easier this week as Walsh travels south to take on Springfield (1-0).
