Summary – This was a great twist in the middle of the show. They needed some heels to win titles and this was perfect. No one saw it coming, and they were the ultimate underdogs.
Kofi Kingston pins Daniel Bryan to win the WWE Championship
Grade A
Summary – This match was excellent and easily the best of the night! An emotional moment with his children afterwards! God Bless Kofi, after 11 years of working his butt off, being on the road away from his family, he deserves it! Both men absolutely brought it and saved what was a lackluster show.
Samoa Joe squashes Rey Mysterio
Grade F
Summary – You don’t think Vince McMahon holds grudges? He despises Mysterio for leaving him the way he did 5 plus years ago, and it shows. This match was a total joke and was for the sole purpose to embarrass Rey.
Roman Reigns pins Drew McIntyre
Grade – D
Summary – This was too predictable. The announcers playing up the illness the entire time. Drew dominating the match until Super Reigns kicked in. It was just the same old song and dance. I will say that the McIntyre entrance was excellent!
