Final Grades For WWE WrestleMania 35

Alexa Bliss as host

Grade D – A cool moment to start the show that was going to need a few early on. Bliss looked amazing and it is always nice to see the Hulkster. However, the moment went nowhere. Then later in the show she didn’t do much anything of note. Bliss is so extremely talented, and this was a total waste.

Seth Rollins defeats Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title

Grade A

Summary – This was booked perfectly to open the main show. To have Heyman come out and say how he and Brock Lesnar are leaving for Las Vegas post-match, was very smart. Rollins will be a great champion and should hold the belt for a long time.

AJ Styles defeats Randy Orton

Grade C

Summary – Randy Orton needed to be fired years ago. He is a waste of money. Styles looked great as always. AJ did his best to carry this match, but you can only do so much with an uninspired Orton.

The Uso’s retain the Smackdown Tag Titles

Grade – B

Summary – Good match with all four teams coming out of it looking strong. Smart move to keep the titles with Jimmy and Jey.

Shane McMahon defeats The Miz by pinfall.

Grade C

Summary – This match was terrible, with a great finish as The Miz back suplexed McMahon from the top of a camera bay. That provided the first WrestleMania moment of the night. Because of that one sweet move, I’ll give it a C and not a D.
