by There were many fine performances on a rainy Week 9 Friday night but perhaps none finer then Highland Sophomore Quarterback Colton Wadle. Wadle was thrust into action late and led the Hornets to a thrilling 29-28 victory over Wadsworth. It was a battle of two of the very best in Division II.
Wadle led the Hornets to an amazing comeback as they entered the fourth quarter down 29-10 before scoring 19 straight points to finish the game. Wadle compiled 200 plus yards in the air while tossing two touchdown passes. He also ran for 74 yards and two more touchdowns in the thrilling comeback.
Highland will look to stay hot this weekend as they travel to Hudson in a trip to position themselves in the best playoff position possible.
