Hall of Fame coach and player Mike Ditka passed away at the age of 86 today according to reports.
In his career as a player he
was selected at No. 5 overall in the 1961 NFL draft, spent six seasons with the Bears where he had 316 receptions for 4,503 yards and 34 touchdowns.

Two-time NFL champion,
Two-time First-Team All-Pro,
Three-time Second-Team All-Pro,
Five-time Pro Bowler
Named to the NFL 75th and 100th Anniversary All-Time Teams
Became the first tight end inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1988.
As a coach, he led the Chicago Bears to their only Super Bowl Championship in 1985 with the vaunted 15-1 Bears defense.
He is also once traded all his picks while GM and Coach of the New Orleans Saints for a chance to draft Ricky Williams.
