Vacaville Elite Joins the NPSL
The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), the first and only men’s league designated by USASA as a Tier 1 national league, is proud to announce that Vacaville Elite has joined the league. The club will begin play in the 2026 season.
“We are excited to welcome Vacaville Elite to the NPSL family and our Golden Gate Conference,” NPSL Managing Director Cindy Spera. “Vacaville Elite’s dedication to the community is something the league values, and we look forward to seeing them succeed both on and off the pitch.”
The team is led by Co-Owner Aaron Dickey, Co-Owner Brandon Muth, and President Dave Muth.
“Vacaville Elite has a deep appreciation for the rich history of the NPSL Golden Gate Conference, including the sustained success of amateur powerhouses like El Farolito,” Dickey said. “As we prepare for this new chapter, our coaching staff has been proactive in assembling a high-level roster capable of rising to the challenge.”
Vacaville Elite Men’s Soccer Club was founded in 2009 by Dave Muth, with the vision of providing local players a pathway to compete at a high level while representing the Vacaville community. Initially competing in the NorCal Adult Premier U23 League, the club was built
around a strong core of locally developed players, many of whom had grown up playing together, creating a unique identity and chemistry from the start.
In its early years, the club found success by winning back-to-back NorCal Adult Premier League titles in 2011 and 2012, helping establish its reputation as a competitive force in Northern California. The team also gained valuable experience competing in high-level tournaments, including a NorCal State Cup run and participation in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds.
In 2016, the club decided on making the transition to the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) to pursue a national platform. After competing in the UPSL for the past 10 years, the club felt it was the right time to make the move to the NPSL.
Throughout its history, Vacaville Elite has remained committed to player development, community representation, and providing opportunities for local talent to advance to collegiate, national, and professional levels, living out its motto: “Small Town Team, Big Time
Dream.”
Home matches will be played at SPSV Stadium in Vallejo, CA.
“We are committed to bringing a sustainable program that delivers high-level competition and an engaging, entertaining atmosphere at our home matches,” Brandon Muth said. “We strive to uphold the standards of excellence, both on and off the field, that are synonymous with the NPSL brand. Our long-term goal is to establish a lasting presence in the league, providing our local community with continued access to top-tier national soccer for years to come.”
