Titans Roll Over Rangers As Hudson Devins Scores 5 Times

The North Ridgeville Rangers played their final home game of the season against conference opponent The Berea Mid-Park Titans.

The game started well for the home team as Kosta Thrasivoulou got an interception putting his team and prime scoring position. He followed that up with a 8 yard touchdown reception from Quarterback Jacob Madis.

From there, it was all Titans however.  After that, The Titans scored 21 unanswered points to break open the game.  Titans Wide Receiver DeAngelo Borders took  a shovel pass 80 yards to the house, while Quarterback Luke Devins was able to execute the offense and control the first half.  At half, the score was 28-12 Titans and Devins had 202 total yards and 3 touchdowns at half.

Ranger Quarterback Madis tried his best to keep his team alive, he had 80 total yards and 2 touchdowns, hoping to bring his team back in the 2nd half. But the 2nd half was all Titans, more specific, all running back Hudson Devins. H.Devins had 31 total yards and 2 touchdowns at half, and in the 2nd half he only had 5 carries breaking 3 of them for touchdowns.

The longest run for H. Devins was 46 yards untouched down the middle of the field into the end zone. He was unstoppable the entire 2nd half while the Titan defense shutout the Rangers to continue their dominance.

The Titans defeated the Rangers tonight as they gear up for the playoffs as they hope to make a deep push. The next opponent for the Berea-Midpark (6-3) is a big one against conference foe Olmsted Falls (7-2) who is ahead in the standings.

North Ridgeville (3-6) tries to end their season on a positive note as they travel to face Avon Lake (6-3).

The player of the game was Running Back Hudson Devins who finished the game with 156 total yards and 5 touchdowns.
