The Dream Match Kenny Omega Needs To Have

The man who can get the best match out of Kenny Omega we’ve ever seen, is not currently on the AEW roster.  It’s not Bryan Danielson, it’s not Will Osprey, it’s not even a rematch with Hangman Page.  Infact, while MJF teases about the bidding war of 2024, where he jokes about going to WWE, the true free agent frenzy in 2024 will surround two of the biggest names in the business, Seth Rollins and Kenny Omega.  Kenny Omega’s contract is up soon, and the dream match with Rollins awaits.

While Seth Rollins is firmly planted in WWE, and has expressed no interest in going anywhere else, Omega has not done so. Seth Rollins under the WWE banner, taking on a recently signed Omega (if it happens) could go down as one of the greatest matches of all time.

Both men are red hot in their prime right now.  Both men have extremely similar styles and know how to get the fans behind them no matter if they are a face or a heel.  If the WWE truly wants this new World Heavyweight Championship to work, and give it extreme prestige, then the strap needs to go on the best pound for pound wrestler in the world, Seth Freaking Rollins.

This is not the Indy circuit, this is not a spot fest just to pop the crowd, an Omega vs Rollins match at WWE Royal Rumble 2024 would be good enough to close the show, and possibly a WrestleMania down the road.  If the WWE wants to make a major impact under the Endeavor Umbrella, then it is time to break the bank and make Omega the highest paid “Superstar” of all time, to assure this happens.
