Ten Questions Heading Into WrestleMania 35

WrestleMania is less than three weeks away and plenty of questions still surround the show of shows. Some consisting of the top of the card, the bottom of the card, and who will and won’t be there. Out of all of the questions currently having wrestling fans fret the most, these ten stood out to us the most.

1 – Will the Undertaker wrestle?

It almost seems impossible to think they could have a WrestleMania without the dead man. At this point however, there is no plan in place for him to be there. By this point last year, at the very least they had John Cena calling him out so it was pretty much a forgone conclusion he would be there. This year, it is looking very doubtful unless the rumors are true about Sting coming out of retirement out of nowhere.

2 – Who will Kurt Angles last match be against?

As of now, it stands that Baron Corbin will get the nod and the victory in a very unpopular move. I wouldn’t expect the WWE brass to move off from this decision despite the rumors of John Cena saving this terrible situation.

3 – Will John Cena appear at WrestleMania?

An appearance for Cena seems likely, not a match however. They will work him in somehow, someway, but the buildup for a match would make no sense with anyone at this point. Perhaps a special guest referee role?

4 – Will Seth Rollins go over on Brock Lesnar?

This one would make the most sense as Rollins is clearly the future of the WWE. They have already shown they had no faith in Balor, so with that being the case, it is now time to burn it down! Sadly, common sense will not prevail and I would expect Lesnar to get that hand raised once again. Then in a homage to WrestleMania 9, Reigns will come down, go full Hogan and beat Lesnar to walk away with the gold. Once again, sending everyone to bed irritated for the fourth straight year.

5 – Will the RAW Women’s title match headline the show?

Yes, to have the buildup Lynch and Rousey have created, and not have it end the show would be frustrating at this point. Again, the issue being the time frame of it all. Do you really want that match going on at 11:30 pm when most are half awake?

6 – How will legends be used?

This WrestleMania looks horrible. They better bring in the star power of Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Hulk Hogan and whomever else they can dig up and quickly. Right now the lone “legend” being advertised is Beth Phoenix, and that in itself is a total joke.

7 – Will the Andre the Giant Battle Royal be on the main card or pre-show?

This match has lost all luster the past several years, and all signs point to it being placed back on the preshow. Perhaps a Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn showdown perks it up a bit?

8 – Will any celebrities have an impact?

“Gronk” just announced his retirement this weekend, I’d have to believe he will find a way to get involved. I also wouldn’t put it past Daniel Cormier to show up and give Brock Lesnar some grief as well in his match. Other the musical acts, one can only wonder if anyone else shows up and makes any kind of impact.

9 – Will Asuka even have a match?

It seems hard to comprehend that the Smackdown women’s champ would be left out of all the big matches. She hasn’t even been mentioned and it is a true shame with her talent and fan following. Same goes for guys like Finn Balor and Braun Strowman, where are they?

10 – Who will steal the show?

You can count on big efforts from Seth Rollins, AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan. But the quality of their opponents has a little to be desired for. Randy Orton is known to mail it in, and not even try. Styles will have to carry that match. Lord knows what Rollins gets out of Lesnar, and as for Bryan, we don’t even know who he is wrestling yet. If it is Kingston, then yes, that should be the match of the night.

  1. First of all they do not need a host let alone Alexa Bliss. Dumb! She is not a celebrity and does not serve a purpose being there. I hope DC does show up and beats the BEEP out of Brock Lesnar. I hope the Rock or The Hulk do show up. I also want to see The Undertaker. Even though I am a John Cena fan, his appearance at WrestleMania does nothing for me. It’s over played.
I am cheering for “The Man” all the way.
