The Lady Pirates continued their roll tonight as they remain one of the top teams in the area as we approach postseason softball. They defeated conference rival Westlake 11-0 in dominant fashion.
Reagan Kane continued her impressive ways with 9 strikeouts in just 5 innings of work. For Kane, she recently went over 500 in her career and is widely considered the top hurler in the conference, if not the state. She helped herself out at the plate with a multi hit night as well.
Elizabeth Smalley had a pair of doubles to lead to plenty of offense. Also chalking up two hit nights were Carly Ewing and Regan Kane. Addie Dietrich drove in 3 and Rylie Quaiser drove in 2 to help the Lady Pirates improve to 16-7 on the year.
There is still plenty of softball left for the Pirates this Spring as they have a loaded week ahead.
Tuesday vs Open Door at Home ( Senior Night )
Wednesday home versus Bay ( another rivalry game )
Friday night at home versus Normandy ( youth night )
Saturday morning at home versus in Harvey in the Sectional Final.
