The Top 5 Browns QB’s Since 99

Number 1 since 1999

Baker Mayfield

Starts 29

Record 12-17

Record vs Pitt 1-2

Playoff appearances

Summary – In 2018 this number one pick came off the bench midway through week three and led the Browns to wins in 7 of their final 14 games.  He was damn good and tossed a rookie record 27 touchdowns passes against only 14 interceptions with little to no one to throw the ball too.

His 2019 season was filled with bad decisions, bad line play, terrible play calling and absolutely one bad break after another.  With a healthy receiving core, laser focus and better play calling, 2020 can be a magical season for Mayfield.

The million-dollar word as it always is with Cleveland sports is, “if”.  He won’t have a single excuse this season, either perform or your rookie season really was a fluke.  Time will tell!

  1. Hopefully with the new coach and additions this young qb can be THE qb of our future. Give him the right old and dl and off we go.
