MAXIM Lacrosse Acquired by 3STEP Sports, Expanding Recruiting Reach & Elevating Athlete Experience
CLEVELAND, Ohio (March 10, 2026) — MAXIM Lacrosse, the largest girls travel lacrosse club in Northern
Ohio, today announced that it has been acquired by 3STEP Sports, the nation’s largest and most connected
youth sports organization. The partnership strengthens MAXIM’s recruiting network, national visibility,
competitive opportunities, and operational infrastructure—while maintaining the local leadership and culture
that have defined the program’s success.
Founded and operated by the Kortowich family, MAXIM Lacrosse has built a reputation for fielding the
strongest tournament schedule in the region and providing unmatched exposure for collegiate recruitment.
Under the new partnership, the Kortowich family will continue to run and operate MAXIM with full-time focus
and hands-on leadership, ensuring continuity in coaching philosophy, player development, and program
execution.

New Apparel Partnership with Under Armour
As part of the transition, MAXIM Lacrosse will enter into a new club apparel partnership with Under Armour.
New uniforms and player kits will be designed and unveiled for upcoming seasons, reinforcing MAXIM’s
commitment to competing at the highest level with a nationally recognized performance brand.
Continuing a Tradition of Excellence
MAXIM Lacrosse will continue to operate under its established name and leadership structure, with the
Kortowich family maintaining daily oversight of coaching, programming, recruiting strategy, and culture
