Cleveland Cavaliers use huge third quarter in 122-116 win over Atlanta Hawks

The Cavaliers used an explosive 44 point third quarter en route to a 122-116 victory over Atlanta at home tonight.  They trailed by 7 at halftime before exploding for a 44-20 third half route that opened the door wide open for victory.

The three pointers were falling left and right for the Cavaliers as numerous players finished with high points totals.  Donovan Mitchell scored 31 points while James Harden hit 4 from deep for 12 of his 21 points.  Mobley showed again that when he gets a double double, the Cavaliers stand a strong chance of winning and did it again with 22 points and 19 boards to go with 3 blocks.  Jarrett Allan played limited minutes in his return to the lineup with 16 points in 29 minutes while going 8 of 11 from the charity stripe.

The Cavaliers and Hawks will hook it up again tomorrow night and more then likely in the first round of the playoffs that begin next weekend as well.
