by Madden NFL 20 gets released in a couple of weeks, but earlier today, fans of the NFL got rewarded with updated rankings of all players and teams for the upcoming season.
Back on July 12, four players were rewarded the honor of an overall rating of 99: Aaron Donald, Deandre Hopkins, Khalil Mack and Bobby Wagner. Having a rating of 99 means you have achieved the highest honor in the game.
As far as team ratings go, the Cleveland Browns were tabbed with a rating of 83, making them tied for the seventh-highest team rating in the game. A few teams were also given an overall rating of 83, such as the Vikings, Texans, Redskins and 49ers. The Eagles led the game with an 89 rating while the Dolphins were the lowest-ranked team, coming in with a rating of 84.
Who’s the highest-rated player on the Browns you might ask? Well, coming in at a rating of 96 is newly acquired star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. That puts him only behind players like Deandre Hopkins, Antonio Brown and Julio Jones.
Myles Garrett is the highest-rated player on the defensive side of the ball with a 91. He comes in as the fourth-highest rated defensive end, trailing Aaron Donald, J.J. Watt and Calais Campbell.
Kareem Hunt has a rating of 90 with Nick Chubb earning an 85 overall rating to lead the backfield. Baker Mayfield is the 10th-highest rated Browns player and 12th-highest-rated quarterback overall with a rating of 83.
With the ratings being heard around the NFL, some players usually feel disrespected by their player ratings. See Damarious Randall, who wasn’t too optimistic of his rankings before finding out.

Jarvis Landry came out with a rating of 84, putting him in the same tier as other receivers like Larry Fitzgerald, Cooper Kupp and Kenny Stills. Once he found this out, well, let’s just say he felt a little disrespected.
