BW Lacrosse Defeats Muskingum University 16-5

NEW CONCORD, Ohio—The Baldwin Wallace University men’s lacrosse team hit the road and traveled to Ohio Athletic Conference opponent Muskingum University and came back victorious by a score of 16-5 on the North Turf Field.

BW Leaders (9-3, 5-0 OAC)

  • Sophomore All-OAC attacker Jake Nanosky (Medina) scored a team high 6 goals and added 1 assist
  • Junior All-OAC attacker Kyler Byerly (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) scored 4 goals and added 2 assists
  • Freshman attacker Jake Schorling (Westerville/Central) added 3 goals and 2 assists
  • Junior All-OAC goalkeeper Joe Storner (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier) led with 7 saves

Muskingum Leaders (7-6, 1-4 OAC)

  • Five players scored one goal each
  • Goalie Trevor Connolly led with 9 saves

1st Quarter (BW 8-1)

  • 12:20 Nanosky scores the first goal of the game (BW 1-0)
  • 11:47 Nanosky quickly scores his second goal of the game off a Schorling pass (BW 2-0)
  • 9:18 Schorling joins the scoring action and scores his first goal of the game (BW 3-0)

The Yellow Jackets return to play on Friday, April 15 as they come back home to host OAC conference opponent Otterbein University. The action will start at 1:00 p.m. on the Tressel Field in George Finnie Stadium.
