Errol Spence Jr. answered any questions some may have had about ring rust last night with a convincing decision victory over top contender Danny Garcia.

It was his first fight in nearly 15 months since a narrow-split decision win over Shawn Porter in September of 2019. The COVID 19 pandemic and a car accident causing the long delay between fights.

The question now becomes, who is next?

Terrence Crawford

It would unify three belts with Spence’s WBC and IBF and Crawford’s WBO.  It is also a clear-cut case of #1 and #2 in the division going toe to toe. The hiccup would be the difference in promotions and promotional contracts that have between the two of them.  I’ll say it again however, at 37-0 with 28 KO’s he should be the clear favorite, and would make the best fight.

Manny Pacquiao

It seems like the novelty money grab fight for all involved.  I pray this one doesn’t happen and Manny goes quietly into the night.  He won’t, and money does talk.

Shawn Showtime Porter

Many fight fans including myself feel that Porter won the last fight between the two.  Porter is a former WBC Welterweight Champion with a strong following.  This is another fight that I would gladly pay money to see.

That’s it from ringside for now.
