From everyone at Kee On Sports, good luck to Dan May and everyone involved with Midview athletics! Their girls flag football team will compete for the state championship this weekend in Canton.
The OHSAA has sent out the following press release with the details for this weekend.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Following the conclusion of the regional tournaments hosted by the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals, eight schools have punched their ticket to the Inaugural OHSAA Girls Flag Football State Tournament this Saturday inside Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.
Hamilton Badin won the Bengals regional tournament, while Madison won the Browns regional tournament. The top four schools from both regionals qualify for the state tournament.
Spectrum will have live coverage of the state tournament. The state championship game will be televised live on Spectrum News 1. All seven games will be streamed live at SpectrumNewsApp.com and OHSAA.tv.
Quarterfinals – Noon
NE #1 Madison vs. SW #4 Cincinnati Mount Notre Dame
NE #2 Grafton Midview vs. SW #3 Cincinnati Princeton
NE #3 Burton Berkshire vs. SW #2 Cincinnati St. Ursula
NE #4 Macedonia Nordonia vs. SW #1 Hamilton Badin
Semifinals – 1 p.m.
Championship – 2:30 p.m.
Four playing fields, which are 25 yards wide by 70 yards long, will be set up inside the stadium. The quarterfinals will start at noon on four fields, followed by the semifinals and championship game.

There are currently 162 high schools in Ohio that sponsor girls flag football. The Browns, Bengals, Pro Football Hall of Fame and the OHSAA are collaborating to conduct the state tournament.
