ABC The Bachelor: Mental Health Takes Center Stage as Gabi Gets Her Heart Broken Again

By now, all the dust has settled, and when it comes to Gabi, the world can now see why she was so upset, and almost bitter. He promised not to tell anyone that he slept with her, and then went out he did exactly that!  She was devastated to realize that he told everyone that he slept with her, not just Kaity in private.

Gabi came on the show with a full history of mental issues and admitted to Zach as much.  This IS NOT going to help matters.  This poor woman is absolutely devastated. He tried to apologize, but Zach took a very gentle, very scared woman, and just went out and bullied her, destroying any ounce of self-confidence she had left. The fact that she dragged her to his hometown and put her through all of that, just to send her home in the end, just makes matters worse.

Here’s my honest take, as a happily married man and perfectly content with my life.  It must REALLY SUCK to go on a TV show, get your pick between 25 beautiful women, only to act like such an idiot in the end, that you spend 75% of the time you’re on live camera, apologizing as women rip you a new one.  Do you have any idea how many single men would have killed for that chance?

By the time it got the point where he wanted to celebrate, must of the audience at home and in the crowd, just sat there not even feeling all that great for Kaity as she was picked.  Everyone, whether they will admit it or not, sat there feeling bad for Gabi, and for good reason.

Good season, terrible ending.  I can only pray that Kaity doesn’t get too hurt when she watches all of this back.

Oh, and if I never see a grown man shower in swimming trunks again, it will be too soon!
