by Just a few hours before the 2026 MLB Trade Deadline ends, the Cleveland Guardians sent catching prospect Jacob Cosart to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in exchange for defensive gem Jo Adell.
Adell, 27, is hitting .239 with 16 home runs and 62 RBI this season. The former top prospect is famous for his glove work, as he robbed three home runs in a single game earlier this year against the Seattle Mariners.
His defensive skills were so compelling that day that he single-handedly carried the lowly Angels to a 1-0 win.
