St. Edward bounced back from a tough loss to Massillon with a thrilling 22-21 win over St. John’s College (DC). After the Cadets took the lead with just over a minute remaining, Langston Lucas completed a Hail Mary pass to Joe Moore for 70 yards to give the Eagles the victory. Much like they did with Mason Wilhelm a year ago, offensive lineman Jack Marquad has started to pull double duty on the defensive front, beefing up and providing depth to a key unit. Up next for St. Edward is the game circled on their calendar at the beginning of every season, a Holy War showdown with St. Ignatius (4-2).
