The Eagles climb two spots in this week’s rankings following a 58-33 shootout on the road at Olmsted Falls. On Avon’s first play from scrimmage, Trevor Sykora connected with Fin Jerdonek on a screen pass that went 90 yards for a touchdown. Jerdonek finished with four catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns, while Sykora threw four four scores and ran for one. Through two SWC games, the Eagles are averaging 60 points per game. Avon will take on another high-flying offense this Friday night when they travel to Berea-Midpark (4-1).
