The Bulldogs ran out to a 22-0 halftime lead, then held on for dear life in the second half to secure a 22-15 win over Hoover. Quarterback Jariah Morgan went 8-12 for 151 yards and a touchdown, while wide receiver King Young finished with 126 yards and a touchdown on four catches. Garfield Heights will host an out-of-state opponent familiar to Northeast Ohio football fans when they take on McDowell (PA) (1-1) Friday night.
