LOS ANGELES, CA (June 14, 2025) – The 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup, the 18th edition of the region’s premier men’s national team tournament, kicks off today at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles as Mexico faces the Dominican Republic at 10:15 p.m. ET (7:15 p.m. PT). A vibrant opening ceremony will take place before the match.
Mexico is the defending Gold Cup champion and has had great success in recent years at SoFi Stadium. It defeated Panama during the 2023 Gold Cup final, and also captured the 2025 Concacaf Nations League Finals in March with a late winner, also against Panama.
This year’s competition features 16 national teams, including guest nation Saudi Arabia, competing across 14 stadiums in the United States and Canada. The Group Stage will run from June 14 to 24, after which the four group winners and four runners-up will advance to the Knockout Stage.
The Knockout Stage will start with the Quarterfinals on June 28 and 29, followed by the Semifinals on July 2 and the Final on Sunday, July 6, in Houston, TX. Knockout stage matchups will be determined based on the tournament regulations.
