WWE WrestleMania 36 Night One Report Card

Becky Lynch retains her RAW Women’s Championship by pinning Shayna Baszler

Why in the hell was this match on third? What a fall from grace for both women and none of this made any sense. Still a good match but to be on so early night one when the last two “matches” were dreadful, really begin to make you wonder.

This match was hurt badly by their being no crowd. It was going to rely highly on crowd response for Lynch and Baszler. The fans have become split on Lynch recently and this would have had a vintage John Cena heat / hype feel to it.

They need to have this match again when things get back to normal in front of a packed house. Tonight, was rough to watch at times, and this was one of the reasons why. This match could have been so good, and instead it came across as something you may see at a nightclub that needed to get broken up. Grade = D

Daniel Bryan loses to IC Champ Sami Zayn
What a complete waste of Daniel Bryans talent. I mean, this is just a total disgrace. I understand him losing to Bray Wyatt at the Rumble, but this was asinine. Zayn doesn’t even look strong in victory because he ran away the whole time and won by distraction. A total cluster of garbage all the way around. Grade = F

Rob Gronkowski added nothing to the show
Do I really need to expound on this? With spots limited of who could be on the set because of “The RONA”, they wasted two big ones with him and Rawley. Grade = F

  1. There was nothing awful about Braun Strowman being selected to replace Reigns. The match on the other hand……
