Like Hogan saving and bringing Pro Wrestling to a new level in the 1980’s, it was Austin doing that same thing in the 90’s. I say this and mean it, McMahon was on the verge of BK before he allowed Austin to be Austin. No one, and this includes Hogan, was ever as hot as Austin was in 1998 and 1999. That 24 month stretch with him on top changed the industry.
