WWE News & Notes

With WWE SummerSlam in the books, things are far from cooling off as the WWE has some major moves on the horizon.  Some of which include face turns, while others include heel turns, and finally, some of them appear to be taking a left turn right out of the company all together.  Here now are the latest WWE News & Notes.

The Rey Mysterio United States Title win over Theory this past week on WWE Smackdown actually planted the seeds for two turns coming up.  Theory is now on his way to RAW to be a part of the re-formed face group, “The Way”, alongside Johnny Gargano, Candice LaRea, Dexter Lumis and Indie Hartwell.

As for Escobar, it is only a matter of time until he turns against Rey Mysterio out of jealousy of Rey taking his United States title shot.  It is clear as clear gets that the Escobar turn on Mysterio seeds have now been planted.  Eventually, Mysterio will drop the belt to his protégé.

Now that the WWE sale to Endeavor is close to completion, Vince McMahon will keep his word, and once again retire.  While fans are in an outrage with HHH being removed from the board of directors, this will give him more time to head creative as McMahon will now step away for good.

Finally, I mentioned in an article a few weeks ago  ( https://keeonsports.com/wwe-set-to-end-best-storyline-in-decades-by-paying-homage-to-evolution/  ) that the plan was for The Bloodline to eventually fall apart the same way Evolution did decades ago.  That is already in motion and just like I guaranteed it would, the plan is already unfolding.

Jey ( Randy Orton ) challenges the established champion and leader Roman Reigns ( HHH ) and lose.  I guaranteed that even if Jimmy turned on his brother, it wouldn’t be to follow Reigns, but rather, they would jus go their own way.  Both of those things have now happened.

Again, picture Roman Reigns as HHH and Paul Heyman as Ric Flair.  Up next in the Evolution Esque storyline will see Solo win the Royal Rumble and challenge Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.  As you recall, this is exactly what happened with Batista in 2005 and he went on to leave Evolution and challenge HHH for the title at WrestleMania.  It is only a matter of time now….
