WrestleMania Top Five: Main Event Matches

The lasting memory of every WrestleMania is surely the last one. Such as WrestleMania IV with the Mega Powers standing tall as Elizabeth was on the shoulder of the new champion Macho Man.

Or WrestleMania VI with Hogan and Warrior embracing as the pyro began to shoot off. Year after year, the fans depend on that lasting image to close the show.

How about when the boyhood dream became a reality as Shawn Michaels celebrated in ring with his new belt at WrestleMania XII. Who could forget WrestleMania XIV as the Austin Era began, getting his hand raised by Mike Tyson.

They don’t always get it however, as three years in a row recently, (32,33 & 34) the show would close as the fans boo’d Roman Reigns. Or even as far back as WrestleMania 13 when half the crowd was put to sleep after a snooze fest main event.

One thing is for sure, good or bad, the main event of WrestleMania must deliver. Several have. I’d venture to say a good 25 plus of the 35 have done a great job ending the night. These 5 did it the best however!
