by 2022 Avon graduate Nathanial Vakos was perhaps the most prolific kicker in Eagle history. A multi-sport athlete who made the famous walk off field goal in the 2020 Regional Championship Football game to defeat archrival Avon Lake. He had an incredible freshman year at Ohio University with the game tying field goal to send the game into overtime against Wyoming in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl. He has since transferred to Wisconsin of the BIG10 where he is already doing great things as he has made 12 of 14 field goals this season successfully with a long of 52 versus Iowa. He is 20 of 20 on XP’s. Last year at OU, he went 22 of 26 on FG’s with an incredible 56 yarder against Western Michigan.
