The WWE Hits A Homerun In Cleveland With Smackdown

Article updated 7-24-21

All those concerns we had about seeing, “half a show” in Cleveland last night, turned out to be poppycock.  The WWE absolutely hit it out of the park with an AMAZING episode of Smackdown last night.

The packed house was entertained for nearly 3 straight hours as the house fans in Cleveland were treated to countless bonus matches and appearances by all their favorites!  There were two pre-show matches and then a thrilling six man tag between John Cena & The Mysterios vs Roman Reigns & The Uso’s after the show went off air.

Not only that, but we got a mid episode dark match just for the fans.  It was a thrilling 20 minute plus long six man tag with Apollo Crews, Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode versus Big E Langston, Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura.

All in all, it was entertaining, fun and the entire family and crowd enjoyed it. We were subjected to about 25 seconds of the Bianca Belair vs Carmella match from rolling rock on the big screen during a commercial break. Other than that, it was all Cleveland.

My John Cena hat is off to the WWE for a TREMENDOUS show!

  1. Ridiculous!!!! What a scam!! My grandkids first live event…well 1/2 live. We deserve 1/2 money back. I mean they have made so many “budget cuts” they should have the $…right??!!
