by One of the biggest reasons people continue to subscribe to the WWE Network is its wide array of classic content. Such as old episodes of Monday Night Raw, Nitro and even Thursday Night Thunder. They also have a large variety of shows no longer on but ones that were cult favorites like Sunday Night Heat and Saturday Nights Main Event.
While all that is great, the biggest reason fans have flocked to the network, as proven in recent polls, is for NXT. A live show that can only be found on the network. A weekly show that doesn’t contribute to the oversaturation of wrestling, but rather keeps a new and fresh feeling.
So, all of this got me thinking, why not mix a little bit of the old shows that worked and fans loved, with the “sports entertainers” of today. Produce live shows once again, or maybe even taped, but with current stars using old show formats.
That is where I chose to take things with the week’s edition of Cold Pizza. I have listed the 5 shows I would love to see comeback as Network only shows, using the current rosters.
