While much attention has been focused on the top three teams, the Eagles continue to get the job done and stay unbeaten with a 63-28 road win over the Comets. QB Nolan Good lit it up through the air with 320 yards and four touchdowns on 16-27 passing. Sophomore Grant Barr was on the receiving end of Good’s big night, finishing with 173 yards and two scores on five catches. Friday night, Avon will play host to rival Avon Lake (6-3) with the Silver Rail Trophy on the line.
