It has been 53 years since Massillon won a state title, and the Tigers took another big step towards Canton with a 48-14 win over Warren Harding. Emy Louis Jr. took the opening kickoff 92 yards to the house, and Massillon never looked back, rushing out to a 42-7 halftime lead. Known for their running game this season, the Tigers decided to air it out and found success as QB DaOne Owens went 16-22 for 277 yards and three touchdowns. Massillon will take the short bus trip to Canton on Saturday afternoon for their annual rivalry game with the McKinley Bulldogs (7-2).
