UFC 287: Full Preview

UFC 287 updated preview

With two massive headlining flights on the card, the buzz and anticipation surrounding UFC 287 is at an all-time high. It is only days before the action unfolds in Miami, Florida, at the Miami-Dade Arena on April 8, 2023, and there are many that are already trying to speculate and predict what might happen.

The bout between Alex Pereira and Israel Adesanya, as well as the contest between Gilbert Burns and Jorge Masvidal, are the headliners that have attracted much of the interest for this card, but there is so much more to get excited about as the event edges closer.

The UFC has long provided fans with the opportunity to enjoy some of the best sports betting experiences over the years. The competition inside the Octagon is as fierce as ever before, with each fight providing a number of moments.

With this in mind, there have been many who have been flocking to the Gambling Promo Codes website ahead of UFC 287, as it provides them with the ultimate tool when it comes down to finding the best bonuses and promotions that can be used on the fights that take place and help to potentially enhance the betting experiences as much as possible.

As there will be an added interest on the card, it is certainly worth taking a look at what fights are scheduled for the event in Miami on April 8, while also taking a look at the two main events and trying to predict what might happen…

What fights are scheduled for UFC 287?

Fans in attendance and those who watch it on TV will be treated to a total of 13 fights on the night (with no unforeseen circumstances), including two main events. These include a bout for the UFC Middleweight Championship as the main headliner.

What can we expect to see happen?

As highlighted already, there are many that are looking to try and make predictions ahead of UFC 287. Those that are interested will look at each fight carefully, although it would not be a surprise if they were to focus on the two main events.

The bout between Pereira and Adesanya will be the second time the pair has met in the UFC, although they have previous in kickboxing. The first fight between the duo ended with the Brazilian being victorious at UFC 281 in November 2022. By defeating Adesanya by technical knockout in the fifth round, he became the Middleweight champion.

The 7-1-0 South American will be putting the title on the line, though, as the Nigerian-born New Zealander and world No. 1 at this weight looks to get revenge and reclaim the title he lost. He currently has a fight record that reads 23-2-0 across all professional bouts.

Currently, there are many predicting that Pereira will keep the title on the night, as he does appear to have Adesanya’s number when the pair lock up. A similar TKO result is also being expected by many, too.

In the other main event of the night at UFC 287, the experienced Masvidal (35-16-0) will be taking on Burns (21-5-0) in a contest that has been billed at a weight of 170 lbs. The American appears to have put a lot of pressure on himself ahead of this fight, as he has spoken about retiring if he losses the contest.

That does seem to be something that could potentially happen, too, as many are expecting Burns to come out victorious. The Brazilian is a firm favorite for so many, with submission likely to be the method of victory when the two square up in the Octagon.

UFC 287 will be very entertaining

With a total of 13 fights scheduled to take place on the card, UFC 287 has all of the ingredients to be as entertaining as possible for fight fans. Miami will be the place to be on April 8, and for those that are unable to attend, watching it on TV should provide just as much entertainment.
