Alexander Volkanovski used the Korean Zombies face as a punching bag the entire first round. Zombie, to his credit, had a chin made of granite as he simply didn’t crumple blow after blow. The second round was the same as Volkanovski landed bomb after bomb and Zombie refused to quit.
The third round closed out with yet another Zombie beatdown as he was saved by the bell. He was busted wide open as Volkanovski was sitting on him just landing bombs and busting him wide open. Blood everywhere and on the verge of the fight being stopped when the buzzer went off. The doctor checked him and actually let him come out for the fourth.
A few exchanges into the fourth, Herb Dean did the humane thing and finally stepped in and stopped the fight after a few exchanges on the feet that rocked Zombie.
