Top 10 Tag Teams That Should Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame

Demolition

The first ever 3-time tag Champions of the old WWF.  Who didn’t love Demolition?  I’m talking about the original crew of Ax & Smash.  They are the only tag team two win or successfully defend the Tag Championships at three consecutive WrestleMania’s.

Between the face paint, the spiked shoulder pads and the badass moves, they were impossible not to like. Some like to knock them and call them a “Road Warrior” rip-off, but that is not the case with these two legends. One of the best teams of the Golden Era of tag wrestling in the WWF.

The Rockers

The Tag Team Specialists came to the WWF in the late 80’s after an excellent run in the AWA.  In my honest opinion, the Rock N Roll Express cannot hold a candle to The Rockers.  The only reason they didn’t last longer was the simple fact that Shawn Michaels was too damn good to keep in a tag team.

The Nasty Boys

Successful in the AWA, WWF and WCW.  Winning titles in the latter two.  A team fans loved to cheer and hate.  They did both great, face and heel. They lived the gimmick and the fans believed in it. They were as Nasty as they wanted to be.

Smoking Gunns

A lot of fans forget about this mid-nineties classic. They had 3 championship runs in the IWF and then 3 more in the WWF both as good guys, and bad guys.  They were saddled with a hokey Cowboy gimmick and got it over big time.  That alone should secure their spot in the hall!
