Women’s Division
Winner – NXT
This was by far the easiest category to decide. A blowout if there ever was one. NXT is loaded with talent in the women’s division. The entire WWE is loaded with female talent. Easily the greatest it has ever been in the history of Sports Entertainment.
Not a single women’s wrestler in AEW can crack the top 25 of WWE, not even the top 10 of NXT. Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Io Sharai and Candice LeRae are just the tip of the loaded iceberg.
Britt Baker has talent and could do big things. The current AEW Champion Hikaru Shida has serious potential to start to turn things around in the AEW Women’s Division, but she needs to wrestle often and keep her face on TV.
There is a reason why NXT and even some WWE shows are headlined by the Women’s Division. They are that damn good!
Tag Division
Winner – AEW
If the women’s category was a blowout for NXT, then this one is surely lopsided for AEW. While NXT tries to get things moving in the right direction with a few new pairings they hope catch fire, AEW is lightyears ahead. The shame of it is the best tag teams to come through NXT are all now gone. Floundering in WWE or somewhere else altogether.
NXT has nothing to compare with FRT, Best Friends, SCU, The Young Bucks, The Butcher and The Blade, Private Party and so many more. The Tag Champions of Kenny Omega and Adam Hangman Page are the best pairing in Pro Wrestling in easily the last 5 years.
