The Iron Claw: Five Major Mistakes in the Film

No mention of the Lance Von Erich

While Chris was real, and they didn’t mention him, they also chose not to mention the make-believe cousin that Fritz created, Lance Von Erich!  In the movie, they show a performer who looked like Lance, and it’s actually MJF, the current AEW Champion performing the role.  It’s never mentioned, and MJF is on screen all of 7 seconds. The entire segment makes no sense.

  1. Very good review. I noticed all 5 points you discussed. Give Iron Claw another 90 minutes and the makers could have effectively told the Chris and Lance stories. Other points were embellished to build an compelling narrative.
