The Bachelorette: Tears, Revelations & Roses

Revelations

Katie admits to being raped in her youth shortly after Hunter admits to putting his career in front of his children costing him his marriage.  Connor once got so drunk and high he cheated on his long-time girlfriend. All of these are emotion packed confessions that leave the audience wowed at their vulnerability and honesty.

Some of these men, along with Katie really put themselves out there. So, while we all sat there taking all of this in, Thomas comes across with perhaps the tackiest line of flaming garbage I have ever heard. Instead of revealing something from his past, he talks about how guilty and shocked he feels because he likes Katie so much and wasn’t expecting this.

If that wasn’t enough to make you turn your nose to Thomas, he comes out later in the episode and tells Katie that he has a bunch of red flags, then doesn’t tell her what any of them actually are.  Yet again, he uses his time with Katie, and others time to tell her again how guilty he feels that he likes her.

Basically, let’s cut right through the BS here, this guy is out for himself and is trying to get his face and hokey smile on camera as much as possible.

He has no real interest in Katie, and has full interest in setting himself up with endorsements for tooth paste and gum polish. I cannot imagine the producers make him the next Bachelor like he wants them too.
