The Bachelor: Instagram Followers Cost Contestant Shot At Final Rose

Zach and Kat solo date on the water.

They both agree that there is an ease and they are comfortable around each other.  That is a big step and a great sign in their relationship.  This is something that Zach has not had with everyone and for them both to realize it so quickly, means a lot. Zach sees something that gets him excited, and makes him nervous and silly, all good signs!

Kat states she has never experienced this type of thing before and perhaps she was just waiting for the right person to come along.  It was then time for the one on one date where the beans usually get spilled with more personal questions. Unlike Christina, Kat doesn’t spring a surprise kid on him, but goes the more traditional route of saying she had issues with her Mother growing up and was never close.  This isn’t all bad, because she shows a vulnerable side and opens up to him which is extremely important in a relationship.

All of this leads to her admitting that she is falling for him after one solo date, and Zach feels the same as he hands out the rose to Kat.  Keeping her around for another week at the very least, and probably a trip to the final four.

The group date brings everyone to the Island, except Brooklyn, who stays back to get ready for her solo date.

Gabi can’t eat shellfish, and we all know from prior episodes how easily she takes offense to things and the waterworks come out.  This time around, I cannot say I blame her.  This is a tough break and she is right to be upset, ( this time), and she can’t kiss him or be around the shellfish because of the allergies to it.  Not her fault.

Meanwhile on the date, Kylie and Anastasia get into a brief verbal clash about the two-splitting time with Zach on the date and wanting his attention just a bit more then the other.  The whole, “can I steal you” nonsense on The Bachelor, never winds up ending well.  This was no exception as all of this leads to Anastasia being accused of only being there for Instagram followers. Zach sent Anastasia home at the cocktail party because of it.

Katie, who wowed Zach last week on their date, gets a little more private time with him as well.  Charity was featured shortly after that, and he truly seems to be smitten with both. Charity and Katie are up there with Kat as early favorites in the clubhouse to go all the way.

In the end, Ariel walks away with the group date rose.  We think that perhaps Zach was still thinking about their exchange in the pool last week and couldn’t wait to hand this one out to her.

Brooklyn goes on the second solo date

It’s back to the beach as the ducks waddling by get a firsthand view at some oceanside smooching.  Or at least I “think” that’s the ocean. Zach admits early on that he is hopeful that Brooklyn opens up later on during the dinner portion of the date. She in fact does, telling him about her last relationship which was extremely abusive. To the surprise of no one, this leads to another rose being handed out.

Also going home at the conclusion of tonight’s episode were

Dabia and Genevie.  Yes, a 120-minute episode to send home three women.
