Ranking The Top 20 Pro Wrestlers Of All Time

4 Shawn Michaels

Seconds after he kicked Marty Jannety through the Barbershop window in 1992, Michaels kick started one of the greatest singles careers of all time.  His career is so loaded with highlights that it is hard to pick a spot to even start, but we will try.

Let’s start with the gold, Michaels was a 3 time WWF World Champion and a 1 time World Champion.  He is also captured the WWF Intercontinental champion on 3 occasions as well.  He also held the tag championships with Diesel, HHH and John Cena or name a few.

His impact on the Attitude Era also cannot go without being said.  Michaels was a founding father of Degeneration X.  After being gone for nearly 4 years, he returned in 2002 and continued to have one classic match after another.

Michaels headlined WrestleManias 11,12,14, 20, 23, 25 and 26.  His WrestleMania 25 match against The Undertaker is the greatest in company history in my honest opinion.  The names he has had classic encounters with at WrestleMania is a variable who’s who of the industry.

Tito Santana, Diesel, Bret Hart, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, HHH, Kurt Angle, John Cena and The Undertaker to name a few.

Except for his “cheat day”, he is one of the only wrestlers to lose a retirement match and stay retired.  Shawn Michaels is the greatest high flyer of all time as well!
