His 16 World Championships is second to no one. He is tied with John Cena for most ever. A lot of fans would have him number on this list. I do not.
Go back and look at who he beat for some of those titles, and how he did it. Not exactly a murders row at times as he traveled through the NWA. He didn’t commit a Benoit, but his out of the ring actions are disgusting.
Tax and marriage cheat only tipping the top of that list. He just isn’t a good guy. His best matches came with incredible dance partners such as Ricky Steamboat, Randy Savage, The Undertaker, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels.
He never had a memorable or good match with Hulk Hogan, and his entire second run in the WWE has came as a lacky for HHH. Yet, with 16 World Titles you have to put him in the top 8.
So here he is, although in my humble opinion I’d much rather watch and Edge, Kurt Angle or Bret Hart match any day of the week over a Flair match.
