Rank 6th
Cincinnati Bengals Joe Burrow
1540 yards, 14TD, 7 INT 4-2 record
Reason – He is off to a red hot second year and proving all the good things we said about him last season. Burrow is a Kee On Sports favorite and if they can keep him upright, the sky is the limit. Fans who love to look past the Bengals, made need to stop doing that very shortly. Burrow is the real deal.
Rank 5th
Los Angeles Chargers Justin Herbert
1771 passing yards, 14 TD, 4 INT 4-2 record
Reason – Has proven several times this season that he has no problems leading game winning drives. Just ask the Browns about that one. Herbert is the real deal and will only get better with an aggressive coach and solid receiving core.
Rank 4th
Las Vegas Raiders Derek Carr
1946 passing yards, 10 TD, 4 INT 4-2 record
Reason – If the Browns picked him back in 2014, how different would these last 7 years look? He is playing the best football of his career right now and it doesn’t matter who is holding the clipboard on the sidelines. Carr is poised for a breakout year.
Rank 3rd
Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson
1686 passing yards, 9 TD, 5 INT, 5-1 record also 392 rushing yards
Reason – HE IS NOT A GLORIFIED RUNNING BACK. Fans need to come to terms with that and quickly! What more does Jackson need to do to show he is one of the biggest offensive weapons in the NFL? People harp on his record in the playoffs, but that doesn’t change his on-field ability and also success in game winning drives.
Rank 2nd
Buffalo Bills Josh Allen
1723 passing yards, 15 TD, 3 INT, 4-2 record
Reason – A lot of fans could make a strong case for him being ranked above Mahomes, and I would listen to those arguments. Allen is loaded with talent and only getting better. He, Jackson and Mahomes may be sitting on top of this list for many years to come.
There is not a pass Allen cannot make and his arm will remain strong for many years to come. His accuracy has improved leaps and bounds as well over the years.
Ranked 1rst
Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes
1887 passing yards, 18 TD 8 INT, 3-3 record
Reason – Don’t let the record fool you, he is still the best quarterback in the NFL and the man I want with the ball in his hands to win the game late. He is the standard barrier at quarterback and until Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson can beat him in the playoffs, that won’t change.
