WWE Royal Rumble 2024 Recap and Reaction

With Cody Rhodes winning the Men’s Royal Rumble this past weekend, all signs point to him finishing the story at WrestleMania XL in a rematch with WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The only hitch in that is a possible appearance by The Rock challenging Reigns instead, as the wrestling world is still reeling from his recent appearance on Smackdown talking about sitting at the Head of the Table.

Speaking of Roman Reigns, it was smart to book him strong with a convincing win over Randy Orton, Aj Styles and AL Knight in the fourway match.  I would expect the Knight vs Styles feud to continue into WrestleMania while Orton will place his focus on Logan Paul, as will Kevin Owens who is already demanding a rematch after his loss at the Rumble.

CM Punk made a strong showing for himself and it appeared that he would then challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Championship at WrestleMania, since his injury was revealed the next day, that spot appears to be going to Drew McIntyre instead.

The Bayley win was one of the best feel good moments a fan can have!  She has been a workhorse for years and this was the perfect thank you for her, as she will now finally get her first 1 on 1 match at WrestleMania.  This also symbolizes the start of her face turn as you can rest assure she will challenge Io Sky for the belt.
