The Olmsted Falls Bulldogs clinched yet another SWC Regular season championship today with a superb effort from everyone involved in a 77-36 victory over Avon.  10 Bulldogs scored in the victory as they were on fire from long distance, sinking 14 three pointers from beyond the arc.  5 of those long balls came from Jessica Wolanin, while 4 were buried from Danielle Cameron.  Paige Kohler and Erin Birch had 2 each from deep while Maddie Cerovac sunk from deep as well.  Mia Kalich controlled the interior with 10 big points as well.

The Eagles were led by Abby Owens with 9 points on three triples, while Molly Drenik had 8 from inside.  Both Booke Laub and Grace Mangan scored 5 each while Kittelberger finished with 4.  Amelia Holbrook and Elizabeth Hammond had 2 each while Emma Owens finished with 1.

Olmsted Falls raced out to a quick 11-0 lead on the strength of two three balls from Cameron and one from Wolanin along with a bucket from Emily Scina.  Moments later it was 13-2 after the Bulldogs answered a Molly Drenik bucket with one from Mia Kalich. After about 90 seconds of no scoring, the crafty Senior leader Paige Kohler went off for 5 straight points on back to back trips to extend the lead to 18-2 with 4:30 still to play in the first quarter.  The three-point bonanza wasn’t over with yet, as Erin Birch hit her first and then Danielle Cameron hit her third of the quarter, followed by another one from Jessica Wolanin to make it 27-2.  The quarter ended 27-5 after a Grace Mangan three for the Eagles.

The second quarter started with 6 straight points from Paige Kohler to extend the lead to 33-6.  After a Brooke Laub foul shot, it was another three pointer by Paige Kohler to break the game wide open at 39-7.  Olmsted Falls just kept pouring on the scoring as they took a 52-19 lead into the break.  More three balls were sunk from Wolanin, Cameron, Birch and Cerovac along with buckets from Simon and Kalich.

Sarai Kittelberger hit back to back buckets to open the second half and cut the lead to 52-23.  Jessica Wolanin stopped the mini Eagle run with her fourth three pointer of the game. Wolanin would hit another three a bit later as the Bulldogs extended the lead to 66-28 after 3, ending all doubt.
