Ohio State vs Michigan State Recap: No Stopping the Buckeyes Today

2nd Half

The second half began with punts from both teams. Then OSU put up the first touchdown of the half. Trey Sermon broke off a monster 64-yard run off the right side of the hashes. That touchdown made it a massive 35-0 lead.

Michigan State finally responded with a Thorne 20-yard TD run making it 35-7.

A fumble for Ohio State and an immediate interception put the ball right back in the hands of OSU. Blake Haubeil knocked in a 27-yard field goal making it 38-7.

Michigan State responded back with a Matt Coughlin 32-yard field goal making it 38-10.

With eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, Fields found Chris Olave for a 41-yard TD pass. (45-10)

Fields was then pulled and C.J. Stroud checked into the game. Stroud broke off a 48-yard TD run to make it 52-10.

A bad snap into the endzone resulted in a safety finishing the game off at 52-12.
