Major Shocks Planned For Impact Bound For Glory 2023

Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2023 is Saturday Night on PPV. While the card itself doesn’t have the big money matches of years past, it has the potential of being sneaky good because of the burning questions surrounding it. Let’s take a look at 3 of them that could have the entire wrestling world talking.

Will CM Punk show up?

The card is being held just outside of a Chicago, and lord knows that seems to be the only place on Earth that CM Punk can still get a Hero’s welcome.  The WWE has made it quite clear they want nothing to do with this AEW reject, and now Impact may be his last chance to turn around his horrible cancer like image. Impact will give anyone and anything a chance, perhaps this is a good fit for both?

Does Mickie James or Tommy Dreamer retire?

It has been heavily rumored that Mickie James is on her way back to WWE as an agent now that her husband Nick Aldis has arrived as the Commissioner of the Blue brand. This would be a great way for her to leave Impact and put Trinity over on the way out.

Who cashes in?

With the World Title Shot sitting in the briefcase of Moose, we have seen this story before at Bound For Glory 2021, of Alexander winning the title, only to have it taken from him in an impromptu match against Moose right after.  Last time, his wife and child were even in the ring. This time however, the sudden challenger can come out of the “Call Your Shot Battle Royal”.

Can it be Will Ospreay, he will already be there for his match with Speedball Mike Bailey.  Or, is this the time we see CM Punk appear, win the battle royal then going on to cash in later that night.

As we always say, time will tell.
