MAC Power Rankings Week 8

1 Buffalo (4-2) +5

Two wins a row boosts you to the top of the rankings, if this Buffalo offense can play consistent each week they will be in a prime spot for the MAC Championship.

2  Toledo (4-2) -1

Just a minor slip up by the Rockets against one of the best defenses they will face, They still have all of their goals in front of them.

3 NIU (4-2) -1

A win over BGSU is going to help this team in the long run, I still see this team in the MAC championship if they can avoid any slip ups.

4 Ohio (4-2) +3

Team has played strong this year, The Bobcats are capable of beating anyone in the conference.

5 Eastern Michigan (4-2) -2

The loss drops them a few spots, a win against their rival will put them back on track.

6 Western Michigan (3-3)

Weird game, weird result, thankfully for the Broncos they were able to wait out the storm and get the win.

7 Central Michigan (3-3)

Tough loss but a noble comeback while losing their QB, the Chips still have a chance to win the MAC Michigan title and get to a bowl game.

8 Miami (2-4)

A good win over a MAC team that was playing well, still a down season.

9 BGSU (2-4)

A game I could have seen them winning, not looking good for the Falcons so far

10 Ball State (2-4)

A win over Kent shows this teams culture is holding strong.

11 Akron (1-6)

Another winnable game, this team cannot get out of their own way. a bowl season is near impossible for this team.

12 Kent State (0-6)

They fought, this team shows fight and that’s all you can ask for
