Lorain County, Ohio – Momentum for Lorain County Leviathan FC continues to surge after a standing-room-only Jersey Reveal event drew more than 250 supporters, partners, and community leaders in a powerful display of excitement for the club’s inaugural season.
The energy in the room reflected what has quickly become clear across the county — Leviathan soccer has arrived, and the community is all in.
Among the special guests in attendance was renowned sportscaster Mark “Munch” Bishop, who will serve as the official Voice of the Leviathan this season. His presence underscored the growing profile and professionalism surrounding the club.
Representing title partner Laketec, CEO Joe Little addressed the crowd, speaking about the importance of community connection and regional pride. The partnership highlights Leviathan FC’s commitment to building something that represents all of Lorain County — on and off the pitch.
Club Chairman Andrew McDonnell (North Ridgeville) then took the stage, channeling what many described as his “inner Jim Tressel,” delivering a heartfelt and composed message about discipline, opportunity, and belief in the region before the much-anticipated unveiling.
Following a stirring video tribute celebrating Lorain County’s grit, history, and pride, the curtain dropped.
The Black and Teal home kit, along with the bold Teal and Yellow alternate, were revealed to thunderous applause. The jerseys were modeled by Haitian-born defender Stephen Forges and Avon native London Carnie — a perfect symbol of the club’s international reach and strong local roots. The moment brought into full light Leviathan FC’s unique blend of global talent and hometown passion.
The excitement isn’t just symbolic — it’s measurable.
With more than 600 season tickets already sold, Leviathan FC is trending toward near-capacity crowds at the 4,000-seat Forefront Field, home of the Leviathan. Community support continues to exceed expectations as the club prepares for kickoff.
“This isn’t just a team,” said Adam Stalnaker and member of the ownership team. “It’s a movement for Lorain County.”
