Grading The 2021 Cleveland Browns Draft Class

2nd Round – Pick 52

LB – Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah – Notre Dame

I have no idea how this guy fell to the Browns with the 52nd overall pick that they traded up with Carolina to get.  You knew the second that trade was made; the Browns were going Joker!

This young man is a stud, and the Browns badly needed him on this roster. He can play outside and middle and brings a wealth of versality to the position. Teams “may” have shied away from him because he is only 6’1 and 220, but I assure you, with 4.6 speed, size is not an issue here.

He can drop a fullback as easy as he can plow through the line to crush a quarterback.  This guy is the real deal. He makes solo tackles in open space look easy. He can blitz or he can drop back and shut off the edge, either way, he is getting the job done.

If Joe Woods and the Browns turn this kid loose, the fans will fall in love with him. I already love this pick and the fact that he fell to 52, is a sign of the stars aligning in Cleveland. For all the bad luck over the past two decades, Owusu-Koramoah falling to the Browns is the good karma this franchise earned!

Grade A  – I’ll say it one more time, I love this selection.  Fans have a lot to be excited about with “The Joker” coming to town.
